The thing that makes this different from other WWE games is that you’re not particularly controlling your character like you would in a standard fighting or wrestling game. Choosing a wrestler

In any standard wrestling game, you can always choose a character to your liking. You will be familiar with that wrestler’s move sets and stats so to speak. In the game though since you will be relying on your wrestler’s stats as you’re playing the puzzle, you need to figure out the advantages and disadvantages of your wrestler’s stats and style.

Wrestlers have different styles in the game and here they are. Strikers usually have high attack, Tricksters are somewhat nimble, Technicians have good moves in terms of technique, Acrobats are fast and perform aerial moves, Powerhouses have good durability and Showboats can be a mixture of any of these styles. Upgrade your wrestlers

When you have your preferred wrestlers for the time being, you can choose to upgrade them. Upgrading your wrestlers increases their stats and performance during the matches. You can get better wrestlers later on but when you have a few good ones to spare, just focus on upgrading them. Plus there are those that have their desired wrestlers who they will use regardless.

Puzzle wrestling

In terms of the actual games, when you need to play the game well you have to focus on the puzzle aspect. You need to be attentive to the board and see which gems you can match in a quick fashion. One good thing you can do is to charge up your finisher bar right away. You do this by matching up yellow gems. However you may not get yellow gems until later on but as soon as you do start matching them up. When your finisher bar is full, don’t use your finisher just yet and save it to when the enemy’s HP is down to a point. Just keep filling up other moves that can be beneficial for you.

Do the quests

There are some quests that you can do. Instead of just going for matches, go for those quests as you can be rewarded as well. You also get some loot boxes which can be beneficial as you can get more cards and other items as well as cash that you can use in game as well.
