Get your Nakama

Nakama is a term used a lot in the anime which basically translates to friends or companions. Prior to starting a level or a Scene you will have the option to choose random people to join your party. It is better to have people that you know join up your party. One other interesting thing is that when you play a Scene you will use Stamina and you can’t play if you don’t have any. Now when you join a party you don’t necessarily spend your own Stamina and you can play even if you don’t have any.

Have the battle tendency

The title is a bit of an Easter egg if you got this bizarre tendency. Now when you choose your heroes you can use two or more of them. The good thing is that you don’t need to choose a main one since you can take control of characters during the battles. When building up a party you can have good combinations. Just like the usual formations such as a having a range character and two melee ones. You can also have a mixture with some support characters in the mix.

Now when you also need to, you need to take control of other characters. You can be in the front but sometime the AI is a bit wonky so make sure to take control of the other characters from time to time. This is why some prefer to have other players join them to have minimal need for control and wonky AI.

The right character for the right scene

Normally when you play a scene it is just your standard level. However when you use a character for that specific scene then you can have a bonus in doing so. Basically you can have a synergy between the character and the scene. The character gets stat boosts and a new skill. If you are familiar with the anime then you can already know which character to use on the scene but if you’re not familiar then the character will have the letters SK on them symbolizing the boost.

Grind and replay levels

Having played through a scene, you can play it again. Keep in mind that unlocking new Scenes can be costly as the best way to do it is by paying with real money. Don’t worry as you don’t lack scenes to keep you into the game. You can play the levels over and over again to help you grind and earn more rewards.
